It Starts Now

Good Morning Family, Can you believe after with this day comes a New Year? I recall being a small child, thinking how far off this time would be. And yet, here it is! Heavenly Father, We are so grateful for this day, which You have created, for another year, for Your Son Jesus, Your Holy Spirit! We are grateful for our families, our extended families, our church families. Amen Today's message I've called: It Starts Now “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2 This is the time of year that people make New Year’s Resolutions. They set new goals. Relationship goals Financial goals Physical goals Spiritual goals They make Life Changing Decisions. But not everyone actually accomplishes those resolutions regardless of how important they are. According to Forbes magazine, only 8% of people achieve their financi

You Can Run, But You Can't Hide

Good Morning Family! It's so good to see all of you here today.. Heavenly Father,   We give You thanks and praise for the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which has brought us near to You and allows us to approach Your throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and grace in time of need.  We thank You that we can worship You because we have been justified by faith and we now have peace with You Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank and praise You, In Jesus' Name Amen I recall a story of a doctor, his name was Potter. It's a story of a young man who stood at the bar of a court of justice to be sentenced for forgery. The judge had known him from the time he was a small child, for his father had been a famous legal light and his work on the Law of Trusts was some of the most exhaustive work on the subject in existence, still today. “Do you remember your father?” asked the judge sternly, “the father whom you have

The Sinner's Best Friend

Good Morning Family, I'm glad to be back with all of you today.. While I enjoyed my time off with my family and studying the Word of God I missed all of you! Did you miss me too? (smiling) Dear Heavenly Father, We pray that You would reveal to us any unconfessed sin in our hearts. We confess our sins before You and we thank You because You will be faithful and just and will forgive us. Lord, we pray that You would purify us from all unrighteousness. Holy Spirit, we welcome Your presence today in this place, help us in the areas where we fall short of what You expect from each of us!  In Jesus name, we ask and pray Amen " But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He

Somebody Greater Than Herod - Christmas Message

Good Morning Family, In honor of Our Lord, Jesus, I have decided to have our Christmas Eve service a little early. I'll be taking the rest of this week off, to worship our Savior, spend time with my family and study the Word in preparation for the coming year! It is my prayer that each of you, will make time to do the same!   "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,  saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.  And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah;

Learning To Listen To God

Good Morning Family, What a glorious day to gather and worship the Living God! Amen? AMEN! Heavenly Father, as we gather together, and come before You today in the name of Jesus, we declare that You are One True God and earnestly we will seek You.  Father, it’s our desire to see You in this place; to behold Your power and Your glory. Lord, Your love is greater than life and our lips will glorify You. We will praise You as long as we live and with every breath, because we know that our life and every breath comes from You! In Your name, we will lift up our hands in praise and Thanksgiving! You have satisfied our souls as with the riches of You glory and we will give You praise. In Jesus' name Amen " This evil people, who refuse to hear My words, who follow the dictates of their hearts, and walk after other gods to serve them and worship them, shall be just like this sash which is profitable for nothing.  For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, s
