Brokenness and Breakthroughs

Good morning everyone!

I don’t know why, but God has laid this message on my heart. I feel strongly that herein lies the very thing we need to take our church lives to the next level.
Our brokenness can bring us to a new dimension, a new opportunity, in God through which no other doors may lead.

There are places God wants to take us to, but at a cost!
And the price of admission is brokenness. Just Brokenness.

I know some of you are saying to yourselves "Pastor, that just doesn't make any sense! I want to go higher, not lower!"

And yet God is telling someone hearing this, someone reading this online, “Trust Me…”

God is reaching down for someone, right now, he wants us to let go of our desires and trust Him for our provision! To stop leaning on your own understanding!

I'm telling you, we can’t get there through our faith, through praying and praise, or even through victory.

Our Lord was broken, when the Lord was crucified and bore our sins in His body, the Bible describes His body as being broken:

"and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Our Lord was broken, but through His brokenness, salvation was made available for you and me.

"But salvation cannot be known without repentance.
And a place of brokenness is necessary for repentance.
Scripture says "Godly sorrow worketh repentance."
2 Corinthians 7:10

I guess what I’m trying to say here is, we must be broken before we can be fixed!

"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit."
Psalms 34:18

When the broken and repentant heart is confessing their sins before Him and is turning from their wrong doing, God can’t help but pay attention!
God can’t resist humility and brokenness!

"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

Brokenness symbolizes total surrender to His work and His will.
Brokenness is what we allow God to make of us.
God has great plans for each and every one of you!

Something great and valuable is within you!
But you must first be broken open to release it.

And just like Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Joshua, Sampson, David, Daniel, Hosea, Peter and Paul. God will deliver a powerful and mighty breakthrough in your life!

You Can't Quarantine The Word of God

" 35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. 36  Simon and his companions went searching for Him. 37  They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!” 38  And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.” 39  So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. 40  Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41  Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.” 42  Immediately the disease left him, and he was healed. 43  Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once, 44  telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses prescribed for your cleansin

The Power Of A Humble Prayer

" Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; 2  and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3  But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one . 4  We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5  May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ."
