Prayer Just Keep Believing

Good morning!

How many here have sinned, this morning?

Oh, What a shocked look on your faces...(laughter)

Now I know most would never even think to steal, kill, cheat, lie, or curse and do a lot of other things we know as sin, yet I suspect many of you sin on a regular basis!

I'm not speaking about sin, in the way most of you are probably thinking...
though maybe I should be... (laughing!) looking at some of your faces...

Did you know that when we don’t pray, that's sin?

Now I'll ask my initial question again... (smiling)

How many here have sinned this morning?

Ah... there it is... (laughing) I see a lot more hands up now!

When we don't pray on a regular basis, meaning daily, that is sin!
God expects us to be in communication with Him..

Scripture says:
"Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way."
1 Samuel 12:23

If prayers were bus tokens to be able to board the Bible Bus to Heaven,
I know a lot of people who will be hitch hiking on the side of the road!

I know many of you probably think of your prayer life is like a chore..

It's actually an honor and a privilege, you have been given a direct "hotline"
to Almighty God, the Creator of Heaven and earth.. to call upon Him any day, any hour...

If you think that it's not such a big deal....
Just try getting the direct number to the C.E.O of Apple!

Let me know how that works out, would ya?

But God, our Father, actually WANTS to hear from you!
That's some pretty amazing stuff right there!

Prayerlessness wreaks havoc in homes and churches. This in turn causes marriage problems, empty altars, and undisturbed baptismal tanks. Sinners walking out of our doors untouched by convictions.

Think of it this way.. Prayerlessness = Powerlessness!

Say that with me:
Prayerlessness = Powerlessness!

How many of you enjoy feeling powerless?
Raise your hand....
Not a single one...

I guess you guys are paying attention this morning.. (laughing)

"So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God."
Romans 8:8

"that no flesh should glory in His presence."
1 Corinthians 1:29

Prayer is like a fine lubricating oil.

"Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Matthew 26:41

I know we all lead busy lives..
we have a lot of things to accomplish everyday
we wake up, rushing around to get to work..
we're in such a hurry, we didn’t take time to pray.
Problems arise,
as the day goes on, the heavier each task becomes..

"Why doesn’t God help me?” we wonder;
God answers, “You didn’t ask.”

I wonder this morning if there is anyone, who in the midst of their struggle, has gotten tired of the fight? Have you begun to lose faith or give up your dreams? Have you lost your hope of a better life?
It seems as though we fall into despair and when the enemy can get us to despair, he then pounces on us to destroy our faith. When our faith is gone, we are left without hope and where there is no hope, there is despair!
Can I get a witness?
Amen! Amen!

David was a man who struggled just as some of you may be struggling today. Listen to what he said…

"Truly God is good to Israel,
To such as are pure in heart.

But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;
My steps had nearly slipped.

For I was envious of the boastful,
When I saw the prosperity of the wicked."

Psalms 73:1-3

"When I thought how to understand this,
It was too painful for me—

Until I went into the sanctuary of God;
Then I understood their end."

Psalms 73:16-17

Like many of us, David got sidetracked by looking at the World. His faith wavered when he began looking at how the ungodly prospered.
Have you ever wondered how people who hate God or who have no desire to live for Him are so blessed?
Understand money is not the answer to all things.
Having a huge home on the lake does not mean that one has a satisfied soul.
Just because their driving the nicest car doesn’t mean they enjoy the hope that you have today.

It took David a moment, but after he found himself in the House of God, he realized just how rich he was.

I'll say that again!

It took David a moment, but after he found himself in the House of God, he realized just how rich he was.

Maybe David looked around and saw his children worshiping.
Perhaps he saw his wife praying.
Maybe his body was healed by the power of God.
Maybe God touched his tormented and troubled mind.
Maybe he came under the anointing of the Holy Ghost as he worshiped.

It really doesn't matter what it was, because in any case, he STOPPED envying the prosperity of the wicked when he realized just how blessed he really was.
  1. Just keep believing, when your eyes tell you your problem is too big.
  2. Let your spirit man tell your eyes about the God he sees.
  3. Get your eyes on what God is doing in your life and in the lives of others around you.

"Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?"
1 Peter 3:11-13

"Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?"

You see, there are some of us here today, who are allowing our circumstance define our God instead of letting God define our circumstance!

Some folks spend more time talking about their problems than they do about the God who is able change their problems.

We need to stop complaining about our problems and start bragging on our God!
Can I get a witness?
Amen! and Amen!

Our God is a healer today.
He is a miracle working God.
He’s a way changer.
He is a chain breaker.
He can raise the dead things in our lives to Life again.

Let me explain something and make something plain:
Just because your down and out doesn’t mean that our God is!

He’s a way maker, when there is no way!

With just a spoken Word, a touch of his hand, every problem you are dealing with can be changed.

How many you here today KNOW what I’m talking about?
Nearly all of you!

Let's give the Lord a hand clap of praise!

I'm trying to tell you...
You're sitting near to someone right now, He has them healed!
You're sitting near someone whose marriage was crumbling, and He put the pieces back together!
You're sitting near someone today, who He has blessed their finances!
You're sitting near someone, whose children are alive today because He turned their life around!

If God has done any of these thing or something else for you personally..
raise your hand up high, right now..
Amen and Amen!

I can assure all of you, your circumstance will almost always be more then you can handle!
But when you stop magnifying the circumstance and start magnifying the God of those circumstance you will find that there is nothing too big,or too difficult for Him!
Can we just stop and take a moment to rejoice and magnify our Lord right now?

Lord,
I thank You, for each one of those here today and under the sound of my voice this morning!
I thank You, for the honor and privilege of Your calling!
We thank You and praise You, for all that You've done in and through each of the lives here today!

Lord,
We lift up our hands and our voices this morning in a sacrifice of  praise, to magnify Your Holy Name
We exalt You!
We glorify You!
We thank You and praise You Jesus, for Your finished work on the cross!
Lord, there is no name above Your precious and Holy Name!
We thank You, Lord!
We praise You, Lord!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Glory to the Lamb of God!

Amen and AMEN!

If Almighty God can:
Create an entire universe and everything in it...
All of humanity
If He can take a barren woman of 90 years old and open her womb to bore a child, Isaac
If He can take a harlot and save an entire nation
If He can take a teenage shepherd boy and use him to kill a giant
If He can take a virgin and open her womb to conceive a child, our messiah
If He can open blinded eyes and bring sound to deaf ears, heal leprosy, cause the lame to walk and resurrect Lazarus from the grave and then resurrect His own body…
Conquering death, Hell and the grave....

Then BELIEVE ME, I KNOW He can take care of whatever is happening in your circumstances, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Just keep believing, in the God Who is able...
And STOP listening to all the noise of others and believing every lie from the lips of the enemy ..

Let he that hath an ear, let us hear what the Spirit is saying to THIS church this morning!

Stop complaining about what is wrong, what God has yet to do for you...
and start PRAISING Him for all that He has already done!
And because of His perfect track record, in TRUST and FAITH BELIEVING,
PRAISE Him for that which He is about to do that is not yet seen!
Listen to your heart and what you KNOW to be True about God..
and stop listening to the father of lies...

If you don't understand anything else I've said here this morning, understand this...

The devil’s only power over you is when you allow him to deceive you into thinking that God isn't going to come through for you!

He is a liar.
Say it with me:
He is a LIAR!

Isn't the true??

“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?"

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

If you need faith in your life to believe, get into your Bible, and get MORE of the Word in your life!

Get your nose in the Word of God.
Stop missing so much church!
And you're physically unable to make it to church,
turn on your radio or your television, tune in on your Google Home or Alexa device

Stop making excuses, and start making time to hear  the Word of God!

"Suddenly a man from the multitude cried out, saying, “Teacher, I implore You, look on my son, for he is my only child. And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him. So I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.”
Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.” And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father. And they were all amazed at the majesty of God.
But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, “Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.”
Luke 9:38-44

Stop constantly complaining about your situation,
And open your ears!
Let God begin to speak faith into your life!

When your situation whispers into your ear, "It can't happen! Give up.. It's impossible."
you turn right around and shot back, "I believe in the One who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us!"
Ephesians 3:20

"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.!"
Matthew 19:26

“Listen to this, O Job;
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God."

Job 37:14

"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[your peace.”
Exodus 14:14

"You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
2 Chronicles 20:17

Stand strong in your faith!
Position  yourself to see the salvation of the Lord!
There is no reason to run from your troubles,
when you're standing in the presence of the God peace!

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
James 4:7

When you head begins to worry and fear over your present circumstances..
Let your Spirit inform your head of the finished work  of Christ that has already settled all the problems in your life!

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18

In closing...

Stop allowing the great deceiver to defeat you with his lies.
Speak life into your circumstances!

Declare your faith in God today,
Let Him know that you love Him, you trust Him completely

tell Him that you don't have the answers...
But it's okay, because you are BELIEVING in Him to take care of your situation.

And then Thank Him, Praise Him, in FAITH believing for what He has already done, and for that which will be done that is not yet seen!

“May the Lord bless you and keep you;
and may the Lord make His face to shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”

Amen and Amen

You Can't Quarantine The Word of God

" 35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. 36  Simon and his companions went searching for Him. 37  They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!” 38  And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.” 39  So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. 40  Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41  Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.” 42  Immediately the disease left him, and he was healed. 43  Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once, 44  telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses prescribed for your cleansin

The Power Of A Humble Prayer
