God-Your Greatest Needs Fulfilled

Good Morning Everyone!

What a beautiful day we've been blessed with!
Amen?
I'm so grateful to share it with all of you.
Thank you for joining us here today..

How many of you have needs?
Wow.. All of you

How many of you are currently unable to meet at least a portion of those needs?
Still all of you.. Wow

Can I just say, that God is able to not only meet your needs
but exceed them!

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21

Let us pray...

Heavenly Father,
As we gather to serve You today, let us thanks to You for all that You have done in our lives.
We thank You for counting us worthy to serve You and know You as the only true God.
Today is the day that you have made, and we rejoice and are glad in it. Oh, righteous Father, as we continue this service, fill our hearts with Your unlimited joy, our minds with peace and refresh our spirits as we study Your Word. And when we leave this place today, let everyone see Your Power and Glory in us!
Accept our thanks and praises in Jesus’ Name
Amen

"The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them,
‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LordThus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army."
Ezekiel 37:1-10

It never should cease to amaze us how that the Jews were one of the most down-trodden people after WWII, and yet they indeed bounced back and became a nation in 1948.
Today, Israel is one of the most prosperous nations in the world!

This was nothing short of a genuine miracle of God, and a fulfillment of Ezekiel 37.

Now having said that, and as awesome as that factual bit of history is, I want us to consider today,
the greater in-depth scope of what God can do in each of our lives.

First, let it be settled in your heart right now, that God loves you, period!
That must be understood fully, in order for you to get what you really need from God.
God is love, and He wants His love to be shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit!

In Ezekiel 37:1-10, we went from this valley of dry bones to a great army.
We need to really analyze this so that we can gain what God wants to do with these principals in our own lives.

Because God still performs miracles today!
Say that with me...
Because God still performs miracles today!
AMEN!

So how do you receive a miracle?

God performs miracles in our lives bases on our faith in His ability.

God performs miracles based on our understanding of His ways and principals.

God performs miracles in us based on our willingness to give Him total control of our lives.

In verse 7 it says, “And as I prophesied, there was a noise.”
God desires our worship.
Noise here means to call aloud; a voice or sound, to proclaim, a proclamation, to sing, spark, thunder.

We must learn how to worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and spirit, and get past the fear of self doubt!

If you are sincere, God will accept your worship!
If you are not, He'll reject it..

God desires the noise of repentance. When we cry out to God in repentance, no matter who we are, God loves that. It is a cleansing of the heart.
We are talking about a transformation!

When we talk to the Lord, He will talk back to us! He uses His word, and the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. He impresses us with His thoughts, and God can speak audibly to anyone if He wants to, and when He wants to!
Let me tell you, there is nothing so sweet as to know you have gotten through to Him!

We need the joyful noise of praise resounding from our lips on a regular basis.
It is done often from this pulpit, and I will continue to do so until the 7th trumpet sounds!
The people of God need to be engaged, in the continual proclamation of the goodness of God and His glorious salvation!

When a celebrity today, is near, you know it! People make noise!
When a king or president arrives on the scene, it is a very big deal! You know that royalty is near!
When the queen of England is near, you know it!

The saints of the ages talked about the good things of God.  People are not going to come to church if they think we don’t believe in what is happening!  We must be enthusiastic about what is happening!  Just as the early church was!!

When the children of Israel took Jericho, there was a shout that went up at the appointed time!
When the Lord performs a miracle in your life, believe me, you will want to share it with your family, your friends, and everyone you meet!!

"there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling"
Jesus said:  “and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”

First, we need to keep in mind that Jesus spoke of THE POWERS of the heaven
and not power of the heaven or a power of the heaven.  But THE POWERS!

The Power refers to the might of a Kingdom of God!

Personal revival requires a shaking.  Turn my life upside-down, for your Glory, O God!

Matthew 6:13 is the first verse that appeared when I began to track the word powers or dynamis.
In the context, Jesus taught His Disciples how to pray to the Heavenly Father.  He used the same phrase “THE POWER” to refer to the greatness and might of the Heavenly Kingdom of the Father.

Jesus taught us that there is a Heavenly  Father  who is also the Heavenly King  of a  Heavenly Kingdom. The Lord taught us to ask the Heavenly Father,  in  His capacity of King or Ruler of that Heavenly Kingdom, to deliver us from temptation and evil when the devil plots it.

So let me ask how many of you have a jealous heart?
How many are ok with doing something for your spouse, your children and someone else
receiving all the credit?

Ladies, you work, come home cook and clean and your spouse comes home and says "Didn't so and so do a wonderful job cleaning the house? Isn't this meal she prepared amazing?

Gentlemen, you work hard, to bring home as much money as you can to provide and your kids tell you "Isn't so and so wonderful, (the guy down the street), for making sure we have everything we need?"

And how much more do you believe you'd want to do, having received no credit for your efforts?

Shall I remind you, that we were created in His image?
"for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."
Exodus 34:14

There is One God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

Not Buddha
Not Allah
Not Muhammad
Not Brahma
Not Pachamama or Mother Earth/Universe
Not Love & Light

There is but One Almighty God!
And He wants His children to acknowledge Him, give Him thanks and praise!
He wants to be FIRST in our lives.

And for those who can't understand that concept, just like many of you want to be first in marriage.
Come on, you don't want some other man or woman having priority over you!
Am I right?

So why it so unreasonable, the Creator of the Universe, the heavens and the earth, the One who gives us life and sustains us, expects the same?

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."
Acts 4:31

God uses the shaking process to reveal His Glory!

"Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire."
Hebrews 12:27-29

Our world has been shaken up since 9-11, and will continue to be shaken!

"and the bones came together"

There must be unity in the church!  There must be unity in our homes, in our families!
We must lay aside petty differences, forgive!
We cannot change what was done to us or by us 40 years ago!
Forgive, receive forgiveness and focus on what is most important!
We must have the unity of the faith of Acts 2:38 and Deuteronomy 6:4 and John 3:30-31!

"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Acts 2:38

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!"
Deuteronomy 6:4

"He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth"
John 3:30-31

Church, the greatest need in each and every on of our lives, and that is the infilling of the Holy Spirit!
We must remember that we cannot even get to this place without a genuine repentance!
But once we have genuinely repented individually and collectively, God will bring us to this place for His glory!

In closing:
This is the greatest need
“But there was no breath in them!”
You life is not what God fully intended for you without His Holy Spirit!
Say that with me..
You life is not what God fully intended for you without His Holy Spirit!

It is fully possible to get to this place.  Don’t despair and don’t lose hope because God is able!
The people looked complete as they were, fully human, but without breath, there simply is no life!
It looked like a wax museum!  So real, yet so lifeless!
Religion alone will not cut it, we all must have a genuine Godly experience, and that experience is God’s Holy Spirit within!

If you want the Holy Spirit, it is in this atmosphere of seeking God that He will be found!
We must begin with repentance.

 May the Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you

The Lord life up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Now and forever, in Jesus' name
Amen

You Can't Quarantine The Word of God

" 35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. 36  Simon and his companions went searching for Him. 37  They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!” 38  And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.” 39  So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. 40  Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41  Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.” 42  Immediately the disease left him, and he was healed. 43  Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once, 44  telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses prescribed for your cleansin

The Power Of A Humble Prayer

" Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; 2  and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3  But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one . 4  We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5  May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ."
