If I Can Convince You

Good Morning Family!

Heavenly Father,
We thank you, our Father, for this time of prayer and for this place of worship, set amid our hurrying lives, and dedicated to the life of the soul and the service of faith. Manifest yourself to us as members and friends of Christs' church.
Merciful Lord, let best in us be called forth to praise you, for you are the health of our countenance and our God!
In Jesus' Name
Amen

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

Let Israel now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”

Let the house of Aaron now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”

Let those who fear the Lord now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”
I called on the Lord in distress;
The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.

The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?

The Lord is for me among those who help me;
Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.

It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in princes.

All nations surrounded me,
But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

They surrounded me,
Yes, they surrounded me;
But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

They surrounded me like bees;
They were quenched like a fire of thorns;
For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

You pushed me violently, that I might fall,
But the Lord helped me.

The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.

The voice of rejoicing and salvation
Is in the tents of the righteous;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.

The right hand of the Lord is exalted;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.

I shall not die, but live,
And declare the works of the Lord.

The Lord has chastened me severely,
But He has not given me over to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will go through them,
And I will praise the Lord.

This is the gate of the Lord,
Through which the righteous shall enter.

I will praise You,
For You have answered me,
And have become my salvation.

The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.

This was the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

God is the Lord,
And He has given us light;
Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.

You are my God, and I will praise You;
You are my God, I will exalt You.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever."
Psalms 118

Satan wants you to fail, to feel alone, and to feel inadequate to what God has called you to do.

"He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform."

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

If Satan can keep you bound, he knows that God cannot get the message he wants the church to hear across.
They shall lay hands on the sick, “and they shall recover.”

If I can convince you that Mark is right, then God will confirm what is written.

Does anyone believe tonight?
Raise your hand...
Because I have come today, to convince you that He has already paid the price.
Listen to me, Satan wants you to fail, and to feel alone, and to feel inadequate to what God has called you to do.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

What part of that has yet to be completed?
Has He not been wounded for our transgressions?
Is He not yet bruised for our iniquities?
The chastisement of our peace is not yet been upon him?

Are you still with me so far...?
Good! Because we're almost there...
"and by his stripes we are healed."

Let's look closely at that last part...
and by his stripes WE ARE healed.

Does it say we will be healed?
If He wants to He will heal us?
Or does it say "WE ARE HEALED"?

Why do you think just before Christ took His last breath
He said "It is finished!"

"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."
John 19:30

Because He completed EVERYTHING!
He paid the price for us in FULL.
Still not convinced?

"When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”

If I can convince you that He IS bearing our sickness; then he will confirm what he has said and someone can leave here healed!

In the book of Acts, chapter 4:29-30, the church was experiencing persecution the Apostles had gathered together to pray and God did what he does best: “confirm the word.”

"Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

They had suffered beatings and were thrown in jail, but their faith was only made stronger through their persecutions.

Four things happened in Acts 4:31-33:

And when they had prayed, prayer got it started!
The place was shaken where they were assembled together; Unity brought divine results
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, we need more than one experience.
And they spoke the word of God with boldness.
When you get things right with God: a holy boldness will come up on you!

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Sharing in All Things

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all."

They inquired of the Lord, they asked him to come, then they waited and the heavens sent the power!
It shook the foundation of the place where they prayed, we need an earth shaking prayer meeting here today!
Church, they were so pumped up they sold what they had; they were concerned about the people of God.
That's the way God is; he is a giver of all that he has!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"
John 3:16

They were more interested in God than their possessions; they sold all their possessions!
The biggest problem in church is that most people believe that because things didn’t happen the way they envisioned it when they spoke for God, that God took His gift from them. So they sit on it and everyone suffers because they won’t use what God gave them!
If I can convince you that God isn’t through with you: you will see God move in your life!
Somebody will get a word of encouragement; someone can be healed.
God wants to use us, but we are too afraid to use what God gave us, so we bury it and it prospers no one!

But if I can convince you that if God gave you a gift, then He will confirm the gift with signs following.

"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
Romans 11:29

So stop looking at yourself as a failure and saying I don’t have any gifts. You need to just let loose and let God take control.

You're not too sick!
You're not too old!
You're not too messed up!
God can use you, but you must allow Him to!

Fear has been the down fall of the church and God's people for ages.
Fear hinders what God wants to happen.
Let your faith move you into a different dimension and a different direction today!
Why not start right now?

God didn’t stop using Abraham because he had Sarah lie to the King and say she was his Sister.

Failure didn’t strip him of being a Prophet of God.
Isaac followed his Father Abraham's footsteps and he had his wife lie and say she was his sister. God didn’t strip him of his relationship with Him.
Jacob was a deceiver he took his brothers birthright, but God didn’t strip him of his gifts.

If I can convince you that God still wants to use you;
then God will do his work here!
Anybody need the Holy Spirit to move in your life right now?
If you would just believe; have the faith as a mustard seed,
God will deliver!

Look, if I have done my job here today
I will have convinced you that He already paid the price!
You don't have to believe me...
But do you believe God?

"So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20

And now may the Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Now and forever, in Jesus' name
Amen

You Can't Quarantine The Word of God

" 35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. 36  Simon and his companions went searching for Him. 37  They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!” 38  And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.” 39  So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. 40  Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41  Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.” 42  Immediately the disease left him, and he was healed. 43  Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once, 44  telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses prescribed for your cleansin

Ministry With A Mission

The Power Of A Humble Prayer

      " Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; 2  and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3  But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one . 4  We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5  May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ."
