Singing A New Song

Good Morning Family,

What a blessing to have all of you here today!

Heavenly Father,

In this day we will give thanks to You Lord and we will call upon Your Holy name; we will make known among the nations what You have done and we will proclaim that Your name is exalted. We will sing to You Lord for You have done mighty and glorious things! We will let it be known to all the world. Father, today we will shout aloud and sing for joy. We will declare that Great is the Holy One of Israel among us today!
All praise and glory is Yours!
Amen

"Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.

The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.

He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

Sing to the Lord with the harp,
With the harp and the sound of a psalm,

With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell in it;

Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together

before the Lord,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
With righteousness He shall judge the world,
And the peoples with equity."
Psalm 98:1-9

New occasions of triumph require new songs to be sung. It would not have been to the fullest of praise for Miriam to conduct the music of the daughters of Egypt to something they learned while back in Egypt. An old song could not have spoken out the feelings of that generation. They must have a new song, "Sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea."

When Deborah and Barak had taken care of the hosts of Sisera, they did not borrow Miriam’s song, but they had a new song for a new event. They said, "Awake, awake, Deborah; awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam."

We find this desire to Sing a new song unto the Lord recorded in Scripture. This is how it was at the building of the temple and on solemn feast days. Poets would declare, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord a new song."
What is it going to be like when the matchless glory of that song which shall be sung upon Mount Zion, when ten thousand times ten thousand of the warriors of God shall surround Jesus the conqueror, when we shall hear a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters, and like great thunders, when we will hear the voice of harpers, harping with their harps? What will it be like when the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures shall fall before God upon their faces, and worship him for ever and ever?
We need to anticipate what is soon to come and gear up for it now while we can! Now is the time to prepare for this day!
I want us to focus on the last song. It is a song that has never yet been sung.

It is going to be a song of supreme victory.
The shouts already greet our ears. The anthem is already prepared. All the principalities and powers of this world will be laid low. The pride of earth will burst like a bubble. The things seen in the natural will fold up. The victory of Jesus Christ will be supreme in all the earth. It will be time to sing a new song. No event in all of history will even compare to it. It will stand matchless and without rival.

It is hard to sometimes see since it is yet in the future.
So we must constantly remind our quick to forget minds that supreme victory is still coming.

We must remember that there will not be anybody to dispute the claim of God. Some battles are hard to discern who was the victor.  Vietnam was one such war. Who won the Vietnam war? Was there even a winner at all? In Desert Storm, there was no question who won the war.
Who will win the war on terror? Many people are still questioning this right now.

When it comes to the Lord’s final battle, there will be no question who will win! The dragon's head will be so completely crushed, that he will do nothing but bite his iron shackles and growl out his confession that God is stronger.

We, the people of God will sing a New Song in that day. It will be a Heavenly song of praise. It will be like no other song ever sung before. Even the music will be unique.

Satan’s evil empire will come crashing down so hard that there will be deep groans of dismay and shrieks of terror from the bottomless pit of hell.

As for Death, when he shall see his captives all loosed before his eyes; as for the grave, when the key will be rent from her grip, and all her treasures plucked from her grasp—death and the grave will both acknowledge that their victory is gone for eternity.

Jesus Christ has been the conqueror who has already taken away the sting for us.
Some may proclaim themselves as atheists. Others may openly say they are the enemies of God.
Still there are those who are hoping that evil will master right and drive it out.
Some are hoping that darkness will extinguish light.
Let me tell you, they hope in vain!

It shall be acknowledged even by the doubters and those given to negative language that the Lord God, "with his own right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory."

Blazoned across the sky in lightnings and thundered out with trumpet, every tongue in earth and hell shall confess, because every ear will have heard, that the Lord reigns, and is king for ever and ever.

Jesus said the end will come when the gospel is preached in every nation.
With television, radio, the internet, and social media platforms,
We are making great progress, but we still have work to do for Him!

Nothing will be able to inflict damage on the kingdom of our God that will be established on this earth.

When we read about wars in history, sometimes we see occasions where it looks like a certain side will win, but then things shifted and the side you never thought would win turned out to be victorious.

Beloved, when we read in the light of Heaven, we are going to discover that God has never had a questionable day in this battle and that despite how things may look during these last days, He has never on the verge of losing!

Today we look at all the negative and say that good was lost, but then in the grand scheme of things, we are going to see that every dark and bending line meets in the center of the divine plan for those who love God because He will take care of us!

In normal human battles, it is expected that there will be casualties even on the winning side.
Not so with our Savior!
Our God, His church, and His Holy Angels will come out victorious everywhere, and on all fronts!

Sometimes the general feels that the glory of victory is marred because there are soldiers in his army who are captive to the enemy. They are not dead and their bodies cannot be found out in the field. They are a prey to the enemy. The general is concerned if they might be in prison or being tortured. But in this last victory of Almighty God, there will be no prisoners left in the enemies land.

In a normal war, the soldiers have to always be ready for the next possible battle. The scattered enemy troops may rally. Those who fled may come back together and the soldiers must be quick to do battle again.

Not so in God’s final battle where we sing a new song…..the final blows are forever crushing, total, and final. That is why we will sing a new song……because we will begin a new life…..in glory with Him forever!!

Just Kill The Spider

I remember the story of an old deacon who used to pray every evening at the prayer meetings.
He always concluded his prayer the same way: “And, Lord, clean all the cobwebs out of my life.” The cobwebs, were those things that ought not to have been there, that had gathered during the week. It got too much for one fellow in the prayer meeting, and he heard the old deacons prayer, one time too often. So when the man made that prayer, the man jumped to his feet and shouted:
“Lord, Lord, don’t do it! Just kill the spider!” That’s what needs to happen.

In closing....

I declare today that there is coming a day when the Lord Jesus Christ won’t just be coming to our rescue because of particular situations, the webs of problems, but this time we will be singing a new song because the Lord is going to just kill the spider himself who made all those webs in our lives.

Look out devil…….
The church of the living God is one sweet day, not so far away, going to be singing a brand new song and there's nothing you can do about it.

Lets glorify the Lord now with our voices!

"Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee,
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not,
As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see All I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!"

And now may the Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Now and forever, in Jesus' name
Amen

You Can't Quarantine The Word of God

" 35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. 36  Simon and his companions went searching for Him. 37  They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!” 38  And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.” 39  So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. 40  Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41  Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.” 42  Immediately the disease left him, and he was healed. 43  Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once, 44  telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses prescribed for your cleansin

The Power Of A Humble Prayer

      " Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; 2  and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3  But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one . 4  We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5  May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ."
