The Exaltation of Man

"God has taken His place in the divine assembly; He judges among the gods:“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? SelahProvide justice for the needy and the fatherless; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.Rescue the poor and needy;
save them from the power of the wicked.”They do not know or understand; they wander in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.I said, “You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High. However, you will die like men and fall like any other ruler. Rise up, God, judge the earth, for all the nations belong to You."

Heavenly Father.

O' gracious and giving Father, thank You for the truths in Your Word, truths speaks not only to everything in us but around us. Lord, we're so grateful for the clarity of divine discernment. Help us to give of ourselves and our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ, for You have called us to care for all those who suffer; but also to warn them, of the coming day, when they’ll be held accountable before You, not for what somebody did to them, the abuses they've suffered but for what they have done against You. For the abuse of Your grace, Your mercy. Lord, give us the boldness and the courage to faithfully preach the gospel, even to those who would reject it. Confirm these things to our hearts by Your Holy Spirit, as we dedicate our lives to Your purposes and plans, all for Your Honor and Your Glory!
All this in Christ’s precious name
Amen.

Psalm 82, comes as a warning to corrupt judges, an exhortation to them to dispense justice without respect of persons, they are threatened with the judgments of the Lord. The Lord God is among his people; and He is presiding in those courts of justice, in which Himself has established.

The exaltation of man is where the Word of Faith movement sharply deviates from the
Bible and historic Christianity. The great lie of Satan has always been, in Genesis 3:4-5 "No! You will not die,” the serpent said to the woman. "In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." In the beginning, Satan’s sin was pride.
In Isaiah 14:14, Scripture says that he declared that he would be like the Most High God and then he uses the same false claim on any man who will head him. After his fall, this same echo of pride has
been used to tempt man throughout the ages. Pagan religions appeal to people on the level of pride.

The primary reason that people have historically been so attracted to paganism, is because they want to be god. The fundamental teaching of pagan religions is that essentially they claim, that you are within yourself, a god or goddess.

Isaiah 43:10 tells us: "You are My witnesses," says the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me, there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me."

Is there any other god other than the LORD? No. Will there ever be another god other than the God who has revealed Himself in scripture? No. The Bible is very exclusionary! God declared His word in such a way that it is impossible to accept pagan religions without rejecting scripture. Either this verse in Isaiah is a lie, or the pagans are following a lie.

Both simply cannot be true. Any claim that man is god is probably the most consistent error that Word of Faith doctrine teaches. Across the board, almost all prominent Faith teachers echo the same message.

The most dangerous thing in the church today is the false teaching that teaches men that they are God. Beloved, when man claims that he is God, he is placing himself, in the same place, right where Lucifer was standing.
When someone tells you that you are God, that’s just another serpent coming to say, "Taste it. No, you will not die!"
When you hear the teaching that you are God, remember what I am telling you, it’s the serpent coming into your garden saying, "has God said...? If you eat this, you’ll be just like Him."

Beloved, believe me, Satan has not changed his game!

Many have laid down the divine, for divine form, somehow believing they are their own god.
No where in the Bible, does Scripture teach that we are or will ever be divine. These false teachings claim things like, "God came from heaven and became a man. He made men into little gods. He went
back to heaven as a man. He faces the Father as a man. You say, "Am I little god?" You’re a son of God aren’t you? You’re a child of God aren’t you? What else could you be?"

This completely contradicts biblical teaching!

My goal here is to allow the Bible to draw the line in the sand. I Kings 18:21 states:
"Then Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If Yahweh is God, follow Him. But if Baal, follow him.” But the people didn’t answer him a word."
Perhaps today, all the true proclaimers of the Word of God, those who profess the truth of the Scripture, should call out, "If the LORD is God, follow Him, but if mankind is God, follow him; but
don’t falter between the two". If someone wants the 'divinity of man' to be their god, we
certainly cannot stop them. However, we must draw a clear distinction between the One True God
and the false godhood proclaimed by the Word of Faith and other pagan religions.

"Don’t answer a fool according to his foolishness or you’ll be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his foolishness or he’ll become wise in his own eyes."
Proverbs 26:4-5

But you must choose. If you don’t want to choose God of the Bible, then reject the Bible. But DO NOT choose paganism, then pretend that the Bible teaches it. This message is not intended to be a judgment, for only God can judge, but rather to show that these false religions are direct conflict with
Scripture of the Word of God. If any man, or woman, for that matter, wants to believe these false religions, they have the right to choose, but they do not have the right to drag the Bible down to the level of that false religion!

There is but One True God, the God of the Holy Bible. The purposes of these false teachings is to deceive mankind, it is the work of the author of lies; Choose who you will believe - the Word of God revealed in the Bible!

Scripture clearly defines the purpose of man. We have been created to have a relationship with the Living God, our purpose is to glorify Him. Because, I occasionally struggle with knowing how much information is enough and how much is too much. There are literally hundreds of passages that clearly show us what the purpose of mankind is, however, for the purposes of this message, I will try to limit them to a few passages.

Let’s begin by turning to Romans chapter 15, Romans 15:5-7. Follow along with me please, as I read;

"Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement allow you to live in harmony with one another, according to the command of Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice."

Now turn with me to Romans chapter 9, verse 17, "For the Scripture tells Pharaoh:
I raised you up for this reason so that I may display My power in you and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth."

News Flash: Man’s purpose is to glorify God, not the other way around! However, it is not only the righteous who glorify God, but also the wicked. This passage gives a few insights to help our understanding. First, we are told what the purpose of man is - to show God’s power and declare God’s name. Or in other words, to glorify God. The other insight is that even someone like Pharaoh gives God the glory.

In ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh was worshiped as a god and he believed that he was a god.

Even though Pharaoh, was at war with God, God used him to magnify God’s own name. Do not be deceived, we all will glorify God. We will either glorify Him with obedience and praise, or we will
unwillingly and occasionally, unknowingly be used by God for His plans and purposes.

We were all created in the image of God for the purpose of reflecting His glory. It is
because of sin that we fail to reflect God’s glory. Ultimately, God will be glorified,
however, His purpose is that our lives be the reflection of His glory and His great name.
Word of Encouragement: STRIVE FOR GOD'S GLORYThe following passages teach us this great truth:

Romans 3:23-24, offers us a great truth, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

I Corinthians 10:31, "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory."

Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."

Everything points to the glory of God. If we are in rebellion, God can and will still use us
to reveal His power. However, if we surrender to Him, we have the honor of fulfilling our intended
purpose of being His beacons of light,  that reflect the glory of God to the world.

Now, there are so many more marvelous passages that I could have used here, Ephesians 1:9-12, Luke 4:43, I Corinthians 6:19-20, Revelation 15:4, Micah 6:8, to name a few.
God’s purpose in creating man is not to recreate Himself in the earth. There is not one passage in the Bible that remotely implies this false doctrine of the exaltation of man.

God’s intended purpose for mankind, is to have  fellowship with our loving Father, our Creator and to reflect His glory and great name.

The ideology, that you are a god, all began with one act of pride, "I will be like the Most High", declared Lucifer. He was once called ’Lucifer’ which means ’the bearer of light’. Now the Bible laments his great fall. Now he is called Satan, which means the 'adversary', the 'devil’ which means 'slanderer or false accuser’, he is also known as the deceiver.

His desire was to be like God, and not reflect the light and glory of God. Though he was not light; he was the bearer of light. It is only by God’s light, that caused Lucifer to shine. And, I'd like to be so bold, as to point out, it is also only God’s light that causes us to be the light of this world. We have no light of our own!

Since his fall, Satan has repeated and echoed, the same lie to everyone who will give him an ear.
In the Garden of Eden, Satan tempted mankind by saying, "you will be like God". That same message continues to be echoed throughout the ages. In our modern age, the masses of people, continue to be lured into the promise that they will be gods.

Joseph Smith, the so called prophet of the Mormon Church said: As God is, man shall become.
Shirley McClain, the actress, proudly declared: I am God. I am God. I am God. I am God.
Jim Jones, who was the infamous murder of the Jonestown massacre, You are what Jesus
was. Jesus said that every human being was a god. It is written that you are gods.
I’m a god and you are a god.
Margot Adler, American author, journalist, lecturer, Wiccan priestess, and New York correspondent for National Public Radio said, she was drawn to neo-paganism, because its invocation of ancient goddesses appealed to her feminism and its ecological concerns resonated with her love of nature.
quoted, the Whole Earth Catalog.
Stewart Brand, publisher of an American counterculture magazine, Whole Earth Catalog, said, "We are as gods and might as well get good at it.

And by far, the most controversial teaching of Word Faith, "God created mankind to be little gods," Kenneth Copeland, has frequently said, "You don’t have a God in you, you are one." Who also professes, since we are in "the same class as God, we are guaranteed those blessings, here and now!"

We can expect this kind of deception to be proclaimed from non-Christian religions like the Ladder
Day Saints, New Age worshipers like Shirley McClain and Margot Adler, and cult leaders like Jim Jones. Because, this lie has been repeatedly broadcast by pagan religions since the fall in the Garden.

What is new, however, is that so called prophets of God, who are proclaiming from the pulpits of the Christian churches, this same message. And what is even more astonishing to me, is the church is applauding this false teaching!

I mean, how can Kenneth Copeland proclaim, that 'God is not in you, you are god', and "You don't think the earth was made first do you? Huh? Well, you don't think God made man in His image and then made the earth in some other image?" Kenneth Copeland Ministries (audio tape #01-3001 side 1) And how can the church remain supportive of this clearly blasphemous teaching? The New Age movement is now within the walls of the church, and it deeply disturbs me that many of God’s own people do not have enough knowledge and discernment to recognize this dangerous doctrine!

Concerning the last days, Jesus asked a redundant question, "When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" The Bible repeatedly warns that there will first be a falling
away within the church before Christ returns. Today, we are seeing the church fall from faith while those in the congregations applaud and cheer.

Beloved, we were foretold, in the Scriptures, that this will occur, however, we do not have to be a part of it! Amen?

The truth of God has been abandoned,  as modern sensationalism continues to gain its appeal. People would rather be ' little gods,' rather than to worship the One True God! And according to scripture, the silent church is just as guilty as those who proclaim that you are god and you are the Messiah.

The disturbing doctrine in the Word-Faith movement, proudly teaches and proclaims:
"When you were born again, the word was made flesh in you. Don’t tell me you
have Jesus. You are everything that He was and everything that He is and ever
shall be.

The Benny Hinn, the Israeli televangelists has been quoted as teaching, 'I am as He is. Don’t say I have (Jesus), say ’I AM, I AM, I AM, I AM.' Hinn, is said to have a few years ago, renounced his "prosperity preaching." However, not having heard his recent teaching, I can neither confirm or deny this claim, but I however, say, that I am certainly not prepared to take 'his word' on good "faith."

Beloved, to sum it up, what we have here is clear! Plain and simple, it is false doctrine, an absurd anti-biblical teaching, and essentially a corrupt church for a corrupt age!

And, The New Age Unity Church teaches an almost identical belief:
'He [Jesus] became the perfect example of the God potential in each of us. That is
what Jesus was, and is, all about: finding unity with God and thereby discovering
the Christ power within. That’s what you are all about too. That is what our journey of spiritual rediscovery is all about.

We have heard the Mormons speak; we have heard the openly New Age speak; we have
heard the Word Faith teachers speak.
Now let’s hear the truth! Turn with me to Hebrews chapter 2, and let's hear God speak on man's position, shall we? Hebrews 2:1-10, follow along with me as I read.

"We must, therefore, pay even more attention to what we have heard, so that we will not drift away. For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment, how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him. At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to His will.

For He has not subjected to angels the world to come that we are talking about. But one has somewhere testified: What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You care for him? You made him lower than the angels for a short time; You crowned him with glory and honor and subjected everything under his feet. For in subjecting everything to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. As it is, we do not yet see everything subjected to him. But we do see Jesus—made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God’s grace He might taste death for everyone—crowned with glory and honor because of His suffering in death. For in bringing many sons to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God—all things exist for Him and through Him—should make the source of their salvation perfect through sufferings."

It would seem to me, that these passages, in Hebrews chapter 2, alone should put to rest any claim that man is divine. We know that angels are not gods and this passage teaches us that man has been made lower than angels. How can we be everything that God is and be lower than the angels? Have the angels somehow been miraculously elevated above God? Of course not!

Because, Hebrews chapter 1 tells us that the angels came to worship Jesus Christ. If Jesus is the object of the worship of angels and we are lower than the angels, how then can Word-Faith doctrine claim that we are little Messiahs or that when you look at us, you are looking at Jesus Christ?

Again, as I've said many times before, let the Word of God, interpret the Scriptures! Therefore, should anyone still be confused, I offer the following verses for your consideration.

In Isaiah 43:10 - 12: "You are My witnesses”— this is the Lord’s declaration— “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. No god was formed before Me, and there will be none after Me." I, I am Yahweh, and there is no other Savior but Me. I alone declared, saved, and proclaimed— and not some foreign god  among you. So you are My witnesses”— this is the Lord’s declaration— “and I am God.

Isaiah 44:6: "This is what the Lord, the King of Israel and its Redeemer, the Lord of Hosts, says:
I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but Me.’"

Isaiah 45:21-22: "Speak up and present your case — yes, let them take counsel together.
Who predicted this long ago? Who announced it from ancient times? Was it not I, Yahweh?
There is no other God but Me, a righteous God and Savior; there is no one except Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other."

Isaiah 46:9: "Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like Me."

The message is quite clear and God doesn’t leave any room for doubt! There are no such things as 'gods.' Because there is but only one True God and He has revealed Himself to us through His word. You can’t become a god. The scriptures state, "before Me there was no god formed, nor will there be after Me".

Word-Faith can teach all they want, that you are anything that He is, but in the Bible the message is clear, God said, "there is none like Me". The Word-Faith can teach that you are a Christ, but the Word of God, clearly states that God is the only Savior.

The Word- Faith teaches, You are equal to God? Really? Then explain to me, Isaiah 40:25 "Who will you compare Me to, or who is My equal?” asks the Holy One."

The Bible tells us that God is not a man and that man is not like God. We were created in His image, that in no way implies we are equal too! Therefore, who can be God’s equal is a non-essential, a redundant question. To which the answer is none, no one nor nothing!
If you look at your image in the mirror, yes, its an image of you, a reflection of you, however, its not you.

Biblical doctrine says that no one is to be compared to God, however, the Word-Faith doctrine teaches a completely different message. Here is how that doctrine compares man to God:
Man was created on terms of equality with God, and he could stand in God’s presence without any consciousness of inferiority. God has made us as much like Himself as possible. He made us the same class of being the He is Himself. Man lived in the realm of God. He lived on terms equal with God. The Believer is called Christ. That’s who we are; we’re Christ! - Kenneth Hagin
"If the Godhead get together and say let us make man, what are they producing? .... They're producing gods... You are gods because you came from God you're not just human." God used faith substance to make everything that He made... God's guts are called faith stuff." - Creflo Dollar

"Faith stuff?" "We are Christ?" This claim sounds strikingly familiar to the warning Jesus gave us, about those who
would come in His name in the end times. Turn with me to Luke 21, and let's look at what Jesus said:

Luke 21:8, Then He said, “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Don’t follow them."

Then, Matthew 24:4-5, teaches  "Then Jesus replied to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many."

Yet, tens of thousands of people, fill these auditoriums, applauding these false teachers, it isn’t difficult to see that Jesus’ warning that many will be deceived is indeed coming to pass. As we see billions of dollars being poured into these ministries by ’the many’, we can know
that we certainly are nearing the end times. These teachers justify their beliefs by manipulating and twisting the scriptures. I mean, listen to this explanation:"God does not even draw a distinction between man and Himself. You can never do that in a covenant relationship." - Paul Crouch
"If you have to say, "If it be Thy will or Thy will be done, if you have to say that, you're calling God a fool." And praying the Lord's will be done is stupidity. Such prayers are a farse and are an "insult to God's intelligence."

Calling God a fool? Insulting His intelligence? Why can you never draw a distinction in a covenant relationship? Because these Word-Faith false teachers say so? That is not a legitimate biblical explanation. There is no Scriptural evidence of such false claims! A covenant is
simply a pledge, a contract,  if you will. Even if we concede this issue, which I do not, I might add, to the Word-Faith teachers, which by the way, the Bible does not allow for, their doctrine is still false!

In Genesis 15, verse 12, God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Abraham and verse 17, God walked
between the pieces of the sacrifice, the divided animals, to seal the covenant. God appeared as both a smoking pot and a burning torch. Abraham slept while God sealed the covenant between Himself. Abraham was not allowed to participate in the actual covenant. The covenant is not between God and us; it is between God and Himself with us as the benefactors. Abraham benefited from God’s covenant.

Compare this to the cross, Jesus was God in the flesh. The blood was His own and the covenant was between God and Himself with us as the benefactors. God sealed the covenant while the world slept. Everyone was completely in the dark until after the covenant was sealed. Abraham prepared the sacrifice, but God made the covenant. In Jesus’ time, men prepared the sacrifice but God made the covenant.

In what way does this make us equal with God? Clearly it does not! It only shows that grace is not by works, but by faith in what God alone has done for us. We may have the benefit of a relationship
because of the covenant, but the covenant is not dependent on us. Thank God the covenant is not between us and God. If it were, it would have been broken the first time man sinned. What good would the covenant be if man’s failure put us back into the same position mankind was put in at the fall in the Garden? God has already showed that righteousness dependent on man had failed. Now righteousness depends on Christ who cannot fail. What does it mean, you are gods?

One of the passages the Word-Faith teachers like to use to persuade people that the Bible supports their ’you are god’ claim, is the first passage in Exodus 7:1, now, I won’t spend much time on this passage because the intent is quite obvious. But we know that Exodus 7:1 says, "The Lord answered Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet."

The King James Version, words it, "I have made thee a god to Pharaoh". Pharaoh was the highest god in ancient Egypt’s pagan religious world. They had gods for everything. Some gods had higher
powers than others. The Egyptians believed that it was necessary to appease all the gods so that their wives could be fertile, their crops would yield harvest, the rains would come in season, and so on. The plagues God sent were specifically targeted against the gods of Egypt. Pharaoh went down to greet the Nile floods and honor this god. God sent Moses to meet him and to turn the water to blood. This was a direct assault against this false god.

One of their gods was a frog, so God sent a plague of millions of frogs. Because Pharaoh thought he was a god, Moses was as a rivaling god against Pharaoh. To yield to Moses was to admit before his people that Pharaoh wasn’t the strongest god. God said in Exodus 9:14, that the plagues against Pharaoh’s gods were meant to show that there was none like God. It was not to show that Moses was a god. Moses was not a god. However, to the pagan worshiping Pharaoh he was a god. It was only in Pharaoh’s eyes that Moses was considered divine.

This passage requires a little more thought, but it is still quite clear. In the context of this passage it is clear that the "gods’ are not called so because they are divine, but because they are set up to be judges. God established His leadership to judge and do justice among the people. This has absolutely nothing to do with divinity. We know this because God follows up by saying, "You are gods and children of the Most High, but you shall die like men".

Now, look at the entire context of this passage. God is judging the judges that He has ordained because they became arrogant! They became unjust. Instead of using the power God had given them to defend the helpless and needy, they used it for personal greed and self gain. Rather, helping the needy, they afflicted the needy, giving favor to the wicked. You may recall, Jesus used this same passage against the Pharisees. They thought they were above the people.

The passage declares that these "gods’ are wicked, without understanding, walking in darkness, having an unstable foundation, and they will die like all men do. I don't know about you, but this certainly doesn’t sound much like the claims of divinity the Word-Faith and other religions proclaim it to be.

Turn with me, if you would to Isaiah 41, there is one more reference to gods, I would like to bring to your attention. passage, follow along as I read verses 20 through 34, "so that all may see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it. “Submit your case,” says the Lord. “Present your arguments,” says Jacob’s King. “Let them come and tell us what will happen. Tell us the past events, so that we may reflect on them and know the outcome, or tell us the future. Tell us the coming events, then we will know that you are gods. Indeed, do something good or bad, then we will be in awe and perceive. Look, you are nothing and your work is worthless. Anyone who chooses you is detestable." Anyone who chooses you is an abomination, in some translations.

In this passage, God is challenging those who call themselves gods. God challenges them,
that if they are gods, present your case. Show us what will happen in the future. Show us the
past. Declare what is to come. What are the purposes of God? They should know these things, since
they are gods.

God challenges them to show their power since they think they are gods.
Then God concludes by saying, "you are nothing; your work is nothing; Anyone who chooses you is detestable."

Beloved, that is a very divisive statement! God declares that anyone who chooses these who claim to be gods is detestable to Himself, the only true God.

There are only two ways that we can be so-called gods. When we stand in the place of authority for which God has ordained us, we are gods, ONLY IN THE SENSE that we represent Him. We are not gods in and of ourselves! That's absurd! We are nothing, but in His will and by His authority, we are His instruments, for His purposes.

The other way we are gods is found in the beginning of scripture, found in Genesis 3:22, God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil". We are like God in the sense that we know right from wrong. Satan promised Eve that she would be like God. It was a half-truth. She was like God only in that she could identify good and evil. Sin has plagued man every since. If someone claims that we are a god in any other context is a false statement and a false god. Satan’s lie is still the same! It has never changed, he plays upon the pride of man; you will be like God. And guess what? Man’s pride believes the lie because he does not want God, but rather he wants to be god.

I'll conclude with the words from the book of Romans. In Romans 1:21-25, "For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.

Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen."

Beloved, just because someone claims to be wise does not indeed make them wise. No more than standing in your garage makes you a car. Such wisdom is ludicrous and wisdom based upon the world will surely fail.

As we read earlier, Jesus warned that just because someone comes in His name does not mean that they were sent by Him. Preachers claiming the name of Jesus’ are deceivers and
anti-Christs if their teaching and lives  contradict His teaching and God's Word.

When anyone reshapes God into the corruptible image of man, the Bible says that they have become fools. If the Bible calls them fools, how can we, Christs' followers, children of God, call them anything else? How can we allow them to be teachers of such foolish doctrine within Christs' church?

If Word-Faith doctrine says that God is like man, Romans 1:23, the Bible says that they have already rejected the truth and are not worshiping God, but are worshiping the creation of God, which the Scripture calls idolatry.

If God has said that He has given them up, we should not be afraid to expose them. Their teaching only reveals who is seeking God and who loves the lie.

It is the responsibility of every believer to uphold the truths in God's Word, so that each person can make a clear, informed choice. If someone be deceived, it should be a knowledgeable choice to reject the teachings of the Scriptures.

The bottom line is, we can’t make people choose God, but we can proclaim the truth, uphold His truth so that people are aware of the choice they are making. And the rest, is up to God!

And now may the Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Now and forever, in Jesus' name
Amen
